The website is operated by Sawtry Media Limited, a company registered in England (company number 05080337) with its registered office at Eco Innovation Centre, Peterscourt, City Road, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, PE1 1SA. RemovalQuotes.co.uk is a trading name of Sawtry Media Limited. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Sawtry Media Limited.

What we do, and what we don’t

RemovalQuotes.co.uk is a free information and introduction website. We publish guides about moving house and give you a way to request quotations from removal companies.

  • We are not a removal company. We do not provide removal, storage, packing or transport services.
  • We do not provide quotations. The quote request form is provided and operated by our partner, Skydreams B.V. (registered in the Netherlands, company number 24330161, Godebaldkwartier 371, 3511 DT Utrecht, The Netherlands). Skydreams B.V. acts as the intermediary that receives your request and passes it to independent removal companies.
  • Quotations come from independent companies. Every quotation you receive is provided by an independent removal company, which sets its own prices, terms and conditions.
  • We are not a party to your contract. If you accept a quotation, your contract is directly between you and the removal company. We are not a party to it and have no control over it.

Choosing a removal company

You are responsible for deciding whether to accept any quotation and which removal company to use. Before booking, we strongly recommend that you check the company’s insurance cover, trade body membership, reviews, written quotation and terms and conditions. References on our website to companies being vetted, insured or checked reflect information provided by Skydreams B.V. and the companies themselves. We do not independently verify, endorse or guarantee any removal company, its insurance, qualifications or the quality of its services.

Removal costs shown on our website, including in our costs guide, area pages and articles, are indicative market averages provided for general guidance only. They are not quotations or offers and may not reflect current prices. The price you are quoted will depend on your specific requirements, including the volume of belongings, distance, access, date and any additional services.

Our guides and articles are general information and are not professional, legal, financial or insurance advice. You should not rely on them as a substitute for advice suited to your own circumstances.

  • Sawtry Media Limited accepts no liability for any services provided, or not provided, by any removal company or by Skydreams B.V., including the accuracy of any quotation, prices charged, delays, cancellations, failure to attend, the conduct of any company or its staff, or any loss of or damage to your belongings or property;
  • we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website or the quote form, or from your reliance on any content on the website;
  • we are not liable for any loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity, or any indirect or consequential loss, however it arises; and
  • because our service is provided free of charge, our total liability to you for any other loss arising out of or in connection with your use of the website, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, is limited to £100.

If you have a complaint about a removal company or its services, please raise it with that company directly. If it cannot be resolved, you may be able to use the company’s trade body dispute resolution scheme, such as that of the British Association of Removers, or seek advice from Citizens Advice.
